About the Position

The Fox Studios – Scratch™ Server Engagement Team plays a vital role in fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and active environment within our official Discord server. Team members act as the community’s heartbeat — sparking discussions, welcoming new faces, hosting fun events, and ensuring every member feels heard, valued, and connected.

If you’re passionate about community building and love engaging with others, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in server conversations and encourage positive interactions.
  
  

• Organize and host community events (game nights, Q&A sessions, challenges, giveaways, etc.).
  
  

• Post QOTDs (Questions of the Day) and discussion topics to keep the chat lively.
  
  

• Help moderate and guide discussions to maintain a friendly and respectful atmosphere.
  
  

• Assist new members during onboarding and answer general server questions.
  
  

• Gather and relay feedback from members to the server administration and management team.
  
  

• Collaborate with other Engagement Team members to brainstorm and execute new engagement strategies.
  
  

Requirements

• Must be 13+ or of legal age to use Discord in your country.
  
  

• Be an active and positive presence within the server.
  
  

• Have little to no moderation history or punishments.
  
  

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  

• Ability to engage respectfully with diverse groups of people.
  
  

• Creativity in organizing community activities and events.
  
  

• Familiarity with Discord features such as pings, threads, polls, events, and moderation tools.
  
  

• Bonus: Prior experience in community engagement, moderation, or event hosting.

About the Position

The Fox Studios – Scratch™ Moderator Team is responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment across our official Discord server. Moderators serve as the backbone of our community, ensuring discussions remain friendly, enforcing server rules, and assisting members when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor chat activity and enforce server rules and guidelines.
  
  

• Address and resolve conflicts between members calmly and professionally.
  
  

• Issue warnings, mutes, kicks, or bans when necessary (in line with staff policy).
  
  

• Handle user reports, appeals, and server-related questions.
  
  

• Support members by answering general questions and providing assistance.
  
  

• Collaborate with other moderators and admins to ensure consistent enforcement.
  
  

• Help identify and report bugs, exploits, or security risks affecting the server or connected systems.
  
  

• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed on updates.
  
  

Requirements

• Must be 13+ or of legal age to use Discord in your country.
  
  

• Must have a verified Discord account in good standing.
  
  

• Be an active and responsible presence in the server.
  
  

• No history of major punishments or disruptive behavior.
  
  

• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
  
  

• Ability to de-escalate tense situations respectfully.
  
  

• Familiarity with Discord moderation tools (timeouts, slowmode, bans, reports, etc.).
  
  

• Bonus: Experience using moderation bots such as Dyno, Carl, or Circle Bot commands.
  
  

• Bonus: Prior experience as a server moderator, community manager, or admin.
